On April 28-30, the Wilcox Foundation will host “Creative Canvas Workshop” for third and fourth grade students at Fruitdale High School and Millry High School, and fourth grade students Chatom Elementary School.
Students who participate in the workshop will receive step-by-step instruction from visiting artist, Rianna Freeman Turner, and will go home with their own 8x10 masterpiece. The artist will spend one day at each school.
Earlier this year, the artist taught classes at Leroy High and McIntosh Elementary. The Creative Canvas Workshop series is underwritten by the Wilcox Foundation and the following sponsors: BASF, Olin, Huntsman, First Community Bank, Clarke-Washington EMC, and Andrew's Hardware.
