Missions Masterpiece
Join us on Saturday, April 5th at Chatom Elementary at 10 am for Missions Masterpiece. During the one and a half hour class, attendees will paint a frame-worthy reminder to pray for missions on an 11x14 canvas under the direction of the artist. Proceeds from this event will go to the Woman’s Missionary Union Foundation. Cost for the event is $34. Pre-registration is required, and the deadline to register is March 19. About the Artist:
Rianna Freeman Turner grew up on the Mississippi coast and uses her love of the water and colors and textures of the coast as the inspiration for much of her work. She is a graduate of the University of Mobile in communications and fine art and also holds a masters in counseling. While most of her work is in acrylic, Rianna also works with oils and mixed media.
She has worked as a freelance painter for 15 years, part of which was spent teaching. She has completed numerous commissioned pieces for clients around the country including an original oil for actor Mark Harmon. Rianna is also a published children’s book illustrator.
When she isn’t playing in paint, Rianna enjoys spending time with her sweet husband, Steven, and little dog, Molly Mae. She also loves running, interior design, strawberry shortcake, sushi, and madlibs. Rianna lives in Mobile, AL.
