Fashion with a Cause -- 100 models, 3 shows, & 1 great cause
It was standing room only at the Chatom Community Center as over 100 models from a 6 county area of Alabama and Mississippi took to the runway to showcase current and vintage couture in 3 great fashion shows at Fashion With A Cause. an event designed to foster awareness of human trafficking in Alabama and across the world.
Thanks to our friends at the event, we raised approximately $5K for anti-human trafficking agencies and received nearly 150 pairs of flip flops which were donated to the USA Children's & Women's Hospital to help them minister to women and men who were victims, now survivors, of human trafficking and assault.
Our guests learned more about the atrocities of human trafficking from anti-human trafficking agencies Phantom Rescue, ERASE Child Trafficking, and Emmanuel House and learned ways to protect their loved ones.
A BIG thank you to Morrell Turner Baxter for coordinating the 3 shows in our event, all of our models & their families, Southern Class and Hide & Hunter for donating styles to one of our shows, everyone who donated their wedding attire, hair stylists and make-up artists, and many more. We couldn't have done it without you!!!
